The HydroBoost Hydraulic Brake Assist System is a perfect fit for custom applications, especially those involving engines with large cams that produce low vacuum. Unlike traditional brake boosters that rely on engine vacuum, this system operates independently, making it highly versatile and suitable for a wide range of vehicles where engine vacuum may be limited or inconsistent.
The system consists of a high performance, hydraulic brake assist unit that runs off your power steering pump in conjunction with your power steering box or rack. The unit is mounted in place of your existing booster on the firewall or chassis. The mounting plate mounts through your factory 4 bolt power booster mounting location and attaches to your brake pedal arm.
This HydroBoost setup is supplied with a 1″ black oval master cylinder and black adjustable proportioning valve kit. Our Black Oval 1” Bore Master Cylinder and Adjustable Proportioning Valve is perfectly suited to work in conjunction with these HydroBoost units.

The ARC Performance HydroBoost Hydraulic Brake Assist System is suited to a 2 wheel disc vehicle (front disc rear drum).
This unit puts out an amazing 1800psi of brake pressure at the wheels, giving you up to 80% greater brake clamping force than regular vacuum assisted brakes.
Recommended fittings for HydroBoost:
- Power steering adapter M16 x 1.5 o-ring style to -6AN (1) (included)
- Power steering adapter M18 x 1.5 o-ring style to -6AN (1) (included)
DOES NOT INCLUDE MASTER CYLINDER TO PROP VALVE LINES.
These will need to be fabricated by installer. Flare nuts are included.
